EVIL, cretinous, slime buckets in the Bush Administration that I could just spit.

Impeachment? Hell no. Impalement. Upon the sharp and righteous sword of the people's justice. Make it a curtain rod. Because it would hurt more.

"English Only" and/or English as the one and only official language of the United States are concepts that are unrealistic, undesirable, prejudicial, wasteful, and totally irrelevant. They serve only as politically expedient public relations tools for many of our cynical legislators and supposed leaders. Business as usual these days, in other words. Distraction, disunity, deceit, and dismemberment of democracy continue to reap dividends for the ruling elite and further damage our society.

Speaking of which, Ken Lay and Jeffrey Skilling of Enron piracy and corruption fame will apparently do some time. They got off lightly in Houston, considering the scope of their misdeeds, but not scot-free like their powerful cohorts and facilitators, including Dick Cheney, George W. Bush, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Phil Gramm, Tony Blair, the Arthur Andersen company, and various other accounting firms, banks, and Neo-Conservative elites. Their devastating crime of defrauding California out of some 9 billion dollars -- as well as ripping off taxpayers in Texas and other states through their utilities scams, influence peddling, and farcical accounting practices -- have gone unpunished and unaccounted for. Neither have they nor any of the implicated political elite been taken to task for their far-flung international racketeering. Credit is due to former California governor Gray Davis, who publicly denounced Enron's practices as piracy, and unsuccessfully demanded California be reimbursed for the 9 billion that company took the state for. While he took the fall for the costly scam's fallout, and was unfairly pushed out of office, those who enabled Enron's power market manipulations, including Arnold "The Governator" Schwarzenegger took the reins of power and whatever money was to be had. Please vote for responsible politicians this June and this November. - v.m.
