After winning a special prize from the International Federation of Film Critics at the Cannes Film Festival, Lisandro Alonso's "Jauja" is finally making its way stateside.
Starring Viggo Mortensen, the existential film chronicles a father's search for his missing daughter. For those familiar with Alonso's filmography, it should come as no surprise that the director's latest is reportedly spare with dialogue and heavy on imagery.
"Jauja" opens in New York on March 20, and will play at IFC Center and the Film Society of Lincoln Center. Check out the exclusive poster below:
