Mortensen to cross the Jordan
Viggo Mortensen has been offered the chance to take the lead role in the planned TV drama 'Crossing Jordan'.
The 'Lord Of The Rings' hero is in line to play the role of a "sexy, funny and slightly cocky cop" in the planned series.
Mortensen has yet to comment on whether he would accept the role, with critics claiming that his reclusive ways have damaged his Hollywood career and a fresh stint in the limelight could do him the world of good.
According to the show's producers, Mortensen is set to make his decision in the next week, with shooting scheduled to begin next year.
