I’ve painted my whole life but in 2008 I took the plunge and became full-time artist and opened Galley Hill Art. My paintings are inspired by the mysterious prehistory of Britain, a long-standing fascination with world symbols and the works of JRR Tolkien. I work mainly in watercolour and gouache, a medium I find exciting because it always creates interesting surprises.

The Photography Gallery reflects my love of black and white, a medium I worked with for years in picture library management and I have never quite been able to get it out of my system
