The tales of Middle-earth written by J.R.R.Tolkien are not all about darkness and gloom and terror. His Middle-earth is also a place of beauty, laughter, song, brightness, and color. This gallery is a collection of my artwork that tries to depict this side of Middle-earth. It is, I hope, warm and welcoming, just as is much of Tolkien's descriptions of these marvelous and unique places.
The medium here is primarily watercolor, with detail done in marker and ink.
